This album was first conceived in late 2020 when I received a gift from my grandmother of her old records. I listened to a few of them and became inspired to create the track "Break It Down." Not long after I had finished that track, I began digging around for more records to sample. The last year and a half have been a journey of discovering the essence of house music, the music that has inspired me.
